The staff here is the friendliest of all the beach bars BY FAR. The environment is the COOLEST. You can tell they put so much thought into the design of the the place. I love the beach beds, how private they are and how well shaded they are. I would highly recommend spending your money here vs others.

Of all the places we ate at while on the island this was our favorite. The quality of the food and service was spectacular.

Yann was our server and he was authentic, charming, and engaging. We chatted a bit about the town he is from and it made our experience so welcoming for him to share a bit about who he is.

The food was exceptional. So good in fact that we didn’t take pictures of it 😂

We shared a few appetizers and then the steak. My husband and I each had our own dessert. I got the apple tart but my husband had the cheesecake and It might be the best cheesecake I’ve ever tasted. No exaggeration.

Writing this review 5 minutes after leaving the worst dinner we’ve had on this island. We racked up a $500 euro bill and that wasn’t enough to receive even MEDIOCRE service. We poured our own water and wine. We were rushed from the moment we walked in and asked made a note to our server that we were not in a rush to which we received a very snarky comment back. We ordered a $180 euro bottle of wine to which a sommelier was asked to come by twice, looked at us and flat out refused to come by our table. Service was awful, food was mediocre. All in all there’s sooo many better places in saint barths we’ve tried them all. Save your money and go anywhere else especially in Gustavia.

I don’t know why we haven’t been here before? Exceptional service, very good food, congratulations to the Greek team in the kitchen and good wine. A bit overpriced, but that’s St. Barth 🤷🏼‍♂️ Maybe the reason why it wasn’t fully booked? They will close in April and reopen under new name next year with a new concept.

The menu at La Guérite features an array of Mediterranean-inspired dishes that are both inventive and delicious. We were particularly impressed with the seafood, which was fresh and expertly prepared, reflecting the essence of the Mediterranean. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the wine list offered a well-curated selection that enhanced our dining experience. However, we did encounter a slight overcharge on our bill, which was an unexpected inconvenience. Fortunately, the staff handled it promptly and courteously once we brought it to their attention.

The service at La Guérite is generally excellent, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who go out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Despite the minor billing issue, the staff's professionalism and hospitality shone through, making us feel welcome and well cared for. Overall, La Guérite is a fantastic choice for dining in St. Barth, offering great food, beautiful views, and a warm atmosphere. With a bit more attention to billing accuracy, it would be a flawless experience.

La Guérite is an amazing place to dine while enjoying a view of the harbor. They serve amazing dishes that are all the best quality. The appetizers we had were the calamari, tuna tartare, and the zucchini cheese balls. There were all amazing. I would highly recommend these entrees - the gnocchis tomate, piccata de veau, poison marine, and coquelet au citron.

The lemon amalfi was especially amazing. A wonderful combination of lemon crème and zesty sorbet. Compliments to the crème brûlée too.

Although it didn’t necessarily take away from the experience as the staff was very responsive, we had the staff mess up a drink and give us two orders of an appetizer.

For kids there are great options for drinks. They have a collection or mock tails!! The caribbean was so good.

This was definitely the place to be at on a Wednesday night. Sadly due to COVID restrictions it is now open until midnight like the rest of the places but given the fun energetic and party vibe it has since 9:30 am I could imagine it would get really fun later at night. The waiters are hilarious and very friendly and the food was amazing. The music was another level of cool and the remixes were some of my favorite and I kept shazaming them through the night. It gets quite dancy by the end and we went for one of our friend’s birthday. The only downside is that it is one of the most pricey places in the island
