We stopped in for a Friday dinner without reservations and luckily we're seated right away. I ordered the brisket on sweet potato and it was one of the best meals I've ever had! The flavors were out of this world and so fresh. I sampled my kids fries and they were the best fries I've ever had. Our only complaint was too much balsamic dressing on the steak salad as it was drowning. Would recommend ordering that on the side. Other than that...
Can't wait to come back for that brisket.

For a place that people seem to rave about in this area, we weren't impressed. I'm questioning other reviews saying the food is amazing. In our experience, it was definitely average. The service was good. Our waitress was super nice. The venue itself is small and they do try to fit a lot of people in there. It is odd walking in...there is a huge gray tarp blocking the dining room from the front door. A little odd. We had the pork nachos and the bruschetta by suggestion.
The nachos were 3/10. They had maybe 2oz of pulled pork. All we could taste was the smokey bbq sauce that was on there and it drown out anything else (if anything else was flavorful). The jalapeños almost tasted like bell peppers. No heat or spice to them at all. Chips were over fried. Husband said I've made better nachos at home.
The bruschetta was a 6/10. The bagette wasn't toasted. I am not sure if this was on accident or actually the way they serve it, but it really made the dish not enjoyable. The honey goat cheese was pretty good! It was on both the top and the bottom of the bread. I did like the arugula in place of basil, that was a nice change. Also, the multicolored tomatoes were fresh.
2 apps and 2 beers was $50. That was a little steep, in my opinion. But, you know, inflation is affecting us all.
We likely won't go back. We weren't impressed. Usually we try restaurants for 2nd time to see if the 1st time was a fluke, but with the price and the subpar food, it isn't really worth a 2nd shot to us.

We visited this wonderful place with our birthday girl friend earlier today. Our immediate reaction was good in that the architecture, design, and layout was very impressive. The front of the building looks great and the outdoor rooftop dining (we didn't do this today), was nice.

Mama, our server, made our experience great. She treated our birthday girl well and even led the happy birthday singing as the entire restaurant crowd joined in. Mama got creative with our drinks when I said, "surprise me with a beer". She created some mix samples that were very good. The other server was very friendly and nice too as she also posed for our photos.

This was one of my favorite dining experiences. Yes, the cheese curds are some of the best in MN. Yes, the chicken wings are awesome. Yes, this is a place that has the perfect balance of everything.

Great job. You created a very memorable afternoon for our birthday party roadtrip. We will be visiting again and we will, for sure, tell everyone about our great experience here.

We had the worst experience here. We stood at the door for 10 min. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. Waiter/waitresses walked by, looked at us and kept walking. They finally seated us 10 min later and then nobody ever came to our table for another 15 min. A waitress walked by us twice and looked at us but didn’t help. We ended up leaving and nobody said anything to us on the way out either. Worst service ever will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

I will be back! I had the Fries Chicken Parmesan and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was better than I've had at fancy expensive Italian restaurants. The chicken was crispy and perfect on the outside, moist and tender on the inside. Definitely recommend. My boyfriend had the Zen burger & fries. He said the burger was delicious as well. Next time I come back I'll order that! All wait staff were friendly, helped each other out and smiling all evening. Bravo! 👏🏼👌🏼.

I met friends for supper before heading to the theater. Very busy place which is good to see. Absolutely loved my Fried Chicken Parmesan. Waitstaff were friendly and efficient. My 2 complaints are for the porch area side room seating. It was absolutely frigid. We are currently in MN winter months. People had to wear their coats to stay warm. My feet froze even though I has wool socks and boots. It's also extra noisy to the point when it's full you can't hear yourself talk. Would love to go back but I'll wait for summer.

Nice cozy spot in downtown Waconia and the food is always amazing! I love sitting on the upstairs patio when the weather is nice!
