We are from nyc and are new to the BBQ scene. The hospitality here is so exceptional, everyone was so friendly and inviting. As for the food I was very impressed with the flavor and temperature of the meat. My fave was the bacon burnt ends. Kelvin the GM was super gracious and I would recommend this place to all my friends visiting Dallas!

We had the incredible opportunity to dine at Hurtado Barbeque before its official opening, and let’s just say—it exceeded all expectations! This place delivers top-tier Texas barbecue with flavors that will keep you coming back for more.

The Smoked Prime Brisket is nothing short of perfection—tender, juicy, and infused with a deep, smoky richness that melts in your mouth. The Beef Rib? Absolutely massive, fall-off-the-bone, and packed with bold, beefy goodness. It’s the kind of barbecue that sets the standard.

Our kids couldn’t get enough of the creamy, cheesy Mac and Cheese, making it a family-friendly spot with something for everyone. Beyond the incredible food, the staff is warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist, ensuring a top-notch dining experience. Even the small details matter—like the impeccably clean restrooms.

Without a doubt, five stars all the way! We’ll be back soon for another round of unforgettable barbecue. If you haven’t been yet, do yourself a favor and go!

If you like great Barbecue, this is a must! First time here and already can't wait to go back. Brisket is the best I've ever had and words cannot describe how good the Texas Twinkies were! Miguel made sure we were all taken care of and made the experience even more enjoyable! Only giving it 5 ? because I can't give it more!

We stumbled upon this place while at the farmers market and come to find we came during their soft opening. We were delighted it was fully staffed. Every single employee was incredibly friendly and helpful. Since we were among the first customers, our food arrived promptly. We shared the El Jefe Platter, and it was an absolute delight. Each piece of meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, making it hard to choose a favorite. The mac and cheese was smoky and creamy, perfectly complementing the flavors of the meats, while the coleslaw was light and refreshing, providing a great contrast to the rich meats. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’d definitely go back again and again!

The food is delicious and on point. If you’ve been to the Arlington location before, it’s what you would expect food wise. Before I get into all that though. What really wins me over with them is the amazing customer service. Everyone was great and very helpful and the location of the restaurant is ideal with it right by the farmers market. The food is great, but great food mixed with great service is what keeps me coming back.

I got the el jefe plate and you get a lot of food. The brisket is amazing and the turkey is underrated but tastes great. I enjoyed the burnt ends, sausage and pulled pork as well. And the sides were on point. It’s a good meal and honestly is enough to feed two people. I didn’t get them today, but their birria tacos are some of the best tacos I’ve had anywhere.

I’m glad I don’t have to go to Arlington anymore to get my fix.

Such a fantastic new addition to the Hurtado family! We were welcomed with a free sample of brisket, friendly conversation by Rylan and Keoh, and the best Mexi-cue. The place is spotless, and the staff circled around to check on each table a few times. We used to travel to the Arlington location (from Forney!) so we are ecstatic to have a closer location now!
