I'm a regular customer at the garden centre. Mainly for the restaurant, but occasionally buy gifts from the shop. Rarely buy plants as they are overpriced! The shop is quite pricey, too, but then all garden centres seem to be like this. I don't mind paying a little extra for a birthday or Xmas gift, but selective what I choose.

The staff in the restaurant know me and are always friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is always clean and tables wiped after each use. The food is good and nicely presented, several choices for vegetarians and vegans . Scones are freshly made on the premises, choice of sultana, cherry or cheese. There is also a good selection of other cakes. I wish I could get a job there !! .

I love this garden centre. They always have such a good choice of plants and pots. Lovely bits and bobs for your house too. Plants and pots are affordable, house bits more pricey. They have gorgeous display usually over Christmas and Santas Grotto. New restaurant in the back with good food but bit long wait.

My wife and I were down from Scotland visiting our daughter recently and we visited the cafe twice. First time we had a look round the shop and then treated ourselves to lunch. A couple of days later we went back at 2.30pm for the afternoon tea. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the afternoon tea was just amazing, “so much food”, plus at £15 each it was super value for money. The staff even gave us a box afterwards to take away what we couldn’t manage to eat. I would highly recommend a visit and if you go for the afternoon tea, just make sure you fast all day beforehand. Photo only shows the cake stand, there was another full of sandwiches and savouries.

I met my friend here at the cafe yesterday, for lunch. Ladies behind the tills
taking orders were friendly and welcoming. The gentleman clearing the tables
and bringing food was very accommodating despite being run off his feet. A big shout out to him for
going the extra mile
for us. Food was good. Queue for food was never ending and the managers need to put more staff on so customers don’t get irate with the hard working,
jolly staff.

I thought that I had better update this as they have completely transformed the place especially the cafe and they do a good range of lunches as well as coffee and a cake.
It's a fantastic job they have done. Before, the food and service was very good but it was like having your coffee in a garden shed.
Now it's a world away from that with comfortable seats and fantastic surroundings. The food was good before and it still is. The prices are fair and if you want to take someone out for lunch or just a cup of coffee then this is a great place to go.

Visited the cafe there, staff very curtains and not very knowledgeable regarding vegan food. Will definitely not be going there again. Very disappointing.

Just been to holland arms garden centre, I wanted to look for my birthday present from my husband, he sent me in to look while he sat outside with the dog, as myself and the brother in law received a voucher to get some free bulbs, he asked me to collect his as he was working, imagine my surprise when reaching the till I was told I couldn't collect his as I was one customer and they have bought in a strict rule as one per customer also they are trying to encourage new customers, as I explained that the b in l was working, I was collecting his, no the assistants said, so I sent my husband in to collect them. In front of him was a very annoyed customer saying the same as myself, and if she had known would not have purchased her plants.
Well done management for this idea, I will not now ask my husband to buy me the stone bench I'd seen or the artificial flowers, I will now be going to Fron Goch, so you have lost a regular customer as well as your staff having to put up with angry customers, I'm sure you will be losing a lot more customers now, well done management.
