Everyone was courteous and accommodating from start to finish. Our servers were patient and knowledgeable since it was our first visit. They explained the menu thoroughly & even noted my nut allergy which is always helpful. Food was good but definitely needs the sauces for flavor. I would recommend for the experience & atmosphere.

We checked in on our reservation but was not seated until 30 minutes later. Once we were finally seated, there was no service for another 30 minutes, then we asked a waiter and he was super rude in the way he talked to us and his face gesture. It was so annoying that I almost confronted him but It’s not worth it.

The food was just ok, nothing was special or wow. I think it’s very overpriced. That little veggies costs $36 or so? That’s a joke. If you go to other Asian hot pot places, it’s unlimited.

The only positive thing for me is the atmosphere and the dipping sauce. However, that’s not enough for me to come back 😊

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. It’s like everybody telling you the movie is so great and then, once you’ve watched it, you realize your expectations were too high.
I’m not going to go into a lot of detail but, it just wasn’t worth the $600 bill (for 3). Mind you, we had cocktails and the omakase and I tipped accordingly. Still, just didn’t think the food was that good.
I’m tired of feeling like I should side with all the other people in Austin so I’m giving you an honest review.
Not bad or awful, just not great.

Had the opportunity to experience the new menu, and it was absolutely incredible. The service here was absolutely impeccable! Shoutout to our server Shannon for her making the whole experience so smooth and memorable, her passion for the dining experience here really shines through. The new menu comes at a price point that feels absolutely perfect for everything that you get! Everything we tried had an amazing and unique flavor, and I really appreciated the variety of offerings between the broths, dips, meats (they even had swordfish!), and the addition of the stew style hot pots. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back!

What a cool experience!! Went with a group of 4 and we absolutely loved it. We were kind of confused at first about the menu and how to cook all the different things, but the staff was so attentive. Multiple people were taking care of us at all times and answered all our questions. The vibe is also so much fun! Cocktails are delicious. The bartender even came over to our table to ask me what flavors I like and whipped something up that I loved! We each got a chef prepared omakase and added on a few a la carte items. We all left happy and full! We will definitely go back!

We had a wonderful experience at dipdipdip this weekend. The staff was incredibly nice, thoroughly explained the menu, and gave recommendations. We ordered the Ozen with ichiban dashi, truffle sukiyaki, shrimp meatballs- highly recommend, strip loin, and sengiri vegetables, Sukiyaki Nabe with A5, and duck two ways. The lotus chips w/ trout row was a great starter, light and savory, but my absolute favorite were the pork sui gyoza- insanely rich and flavorful! We will be visiting again very soon.
