We bought a kitchen from B&Q 5 months ago and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Geoff designed the kitchen and was super friendly and helpful, we went back a couple of times to get things changed and he made sure we got the kitchen for a competitive price. The aftercare was fantastic as well - any queries were dealt with quickly and professionally either in person or over the phone.

Was approached by a very rude member of staff and told not to let my dog on the floor, he never enquired if she was a assistance dog, she is, very upsetting experience. I complained to a manager who was very understanding and sympathetic, hopefully he'll be more aware next he encounters someone with hidden disabilities

A very large DIY supply store. With a kitchen and bathroom display area with designers available to assist you in planning your layout and ordering the parts. A trade area exists for trade supplies ( card needed)
Staff are well trained and knowledgeable as well as being friendly and helpful.
A gardening supplies area with plants, pots, and gardening tools is well stocked.

Cathedral of failed projects and new kitchens. The trades will judge you. Can be hard to find things even with a staff Sherpa. Their own brand emulsion is great.

Went in to buy some nice shelving for my garage, advertised at £75, for a bay, but it was a good solid bay. When I got there, there was 2 different boxes, but same dimensions on both? Asked a member of staff, he pointed out box 1 of 2 etc, so was suggested it might be the wood for shelving. Went to counter to pay, tried to charge me £150. After a long discussion etc, it turns out that each box is £75, & you need both boxes to build a complete bay. What a sham, they should be ashamed of themselves trying to mislead every1 into buying both boxes. Disgraceful. I will buy a bay, but out of principle not with b&q..
